A Taste of Wine is great for drinks with an old friend

It is tucked down an alley from the main street, and up a flight of stairs. Once there, the place is very cozy. In the daylight, you realize just how large it really is, but at night it feels like a very private little retreat. The owners and employees are very friendly and helpful, and always willing to let you try samples. They have a changing wine selection and a large beer menu, plus a few appetizers. You might be so “lucky” as to find a few friendly wine snobs sitting at the bar, also, who will strike up a conversation about every wine you taste. And, if the weather is nice, you can sit on the large second floor balcony above central ave. Good for a group gathering or an intimate conversation with a friend.
