P.S. Eyes of a Stranger came out in ’88. Get yo shit straight
P.P.S. Blame Axl Rose for Madonna having more staying power than GNR, not me
Yeah, Queensryche should have been in the 80s; but they were productive in the 90s, and I think Empire was their top selling album and, I believe, came out in ’91 or so.
And agreed about Axl, but not sure that G’N’R didn’t do more worthwhile shit in Appetite and the two Illusions (Appetite delivering the death blow to the 80s predilection for overproduced, polished, and corny rock) than Madonna did over her extended career. Of course, I think Sweet Child alone was enough to put them over the top for me! (Cue Kevin. The gloves are coming out!)
